Jewers Doors Limited is a privately owned family company dedicated to the design, manufacture and installation of Sliding Folding Industrial Doors and Aircraft Hangar Doors. The company manufactures the world renowned Esavian aircraft hangar door range and the Phoenix industrial door range.  In addition, we specialise in the design of bespoke doors for Special Projects.

June 2008 - Its Showtime again in Dubai

Come and visit us at Asia's largest Airport Suppliers show.  Currently in its 8th year, the exhibition will be held at Dubai Airport Expo on 2nd to 4th June 2008.

March 2008 - Colchester Garrison complete

Work is now complete at Colchester Garrison, which will officially be handed to the Army by Sir Robert McAlpine at the end of March.  In total Jewers have manufactured and installed 350 sets of Phoenix range Swift bifold and Osprey multi-leaf folding doors for Garages, Workshops and Stores buildings.  The £1.2 million door contract is the largest undertaken by the Phoenix team.

18th March 2008 - Largest hangar in Asia opens.

During a televised opening ceremony, Ameco Beijing's new A380 hangar has officially opened.  Working closely with Baotong Door of China, Jewers designed and commissioned an Esavian Type 126 sliding hangar door measuring 350m W x 27m H, which spans the full width of the hangar.   

March 2007 - Jewers achieve 007 status.

Following a fire in July 2006, Pinewood studios 007 stage has reopened.  The stage is the largest in Europe, has a 25mW x 9mH Esavian Flatfold hangar door gracing the scenery entrance.  The Flatfold provides full height and width access when open, whilst ensuring good thermal and acoustic ratings when closed. 

April 2007 - Emirates Hangar H.

Emirates Engineering took possession of the first 7 hangars (A - G) at their new MRO facility at Dubai International Airport in late 2006.  The Esavian TYPE 126 door for the final Hangar H is being installed during summer 2007.  Eventually, each hangar will be home to new Airbus A380's, which are due in 2008.  Each door is sized 88m W x 16m H, with a 10m H tailgate door.
