Hangar doors contract for Heydar Aliyev International Airport
Jewers Doors, the market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of doors for the world's largest hangars, has secured a contract to supply its renowned Esavian brand doors for four new hangars at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The hangars, for Azerbaijan Airlines (a passenger airline) and Silk Way Airlines (a cargo airline), are part of an extensive development at Heydar Aliyev International Airport where the two airlines are based.
Jewers Doors will design, build and supply its Esavian Type 126 doors for a maintenance hangar with an opening of 160 metres wide by 19.7 metres high. Three further hangars will have doors measuring 66m by 19.7m, 84m by 13m and 79m by 6m respectively.
