Jewers Doors honours National Day 40 in Dubai

On 2nd December 2011, the United Arab Emirates celebrates 40 years of independance from the United Kingdom.   Dubai's showpiece Al Manara Civil Defence Station, situated on the main Sheikh Zayed Road betweem Dubai and Abu Dhabi, has been chosen to promote the day by 'wrapping' its 10m wide x 6m high Phoenix range Osprey sliding folding doors. 

At first glance, the doors appear to be sealed shut by the artwork, however, closer inspection reveals that the doors are fully operational, and ready to open in the event of an emergency.

Being situated on the Sheikh Zayed Road, fast access and fast response is a necessity, hence their latest emergency vehicle - a fully equipped Chevrolet Corvette with full light bar and steel push bumpers, kitted out to speed medical aid to accident victims.
