Jewers supplies six sets of identical hangar doors for new SAR facilities
Jewers has designed, manufactured and installed six identical sets of its world-renowned Esavian hangar door system for the new SAR facilities located around the coastline of the British Isles.
The facilities at Inverness, Prestwick, Caernarfon, St. Athan, Newquay and Humberside are all run by Bristow Search & Rescue and have been designed to operate under the most onerous weather conditions at any of the six locations.
The Esavian Type 126 doors are fully automated bi-parting doors, sized 35.5m wide by 8.0m high and configured as six leaves moving on three tracks.
