Our Swift-SEW bi-folding train door solutions are purpose designed to allow for overhead wires and rail tracks to pass through the doors and incorporate exceptional features required by the demands of railway depots. Our train door solutions are also used where more flexibility is required for train rolling stock and require a solution using a vertical sliding folding door movement such as rail depots and workshops. Our train door solutions are technologically advanced and provide high levels of safety in demanding everyday operations as well as integrating well with existing buildings.
Side hung train depot doors enables the door to open smoothly across the rail tracks and will operate around overhead cables. These rail doors open and close safely around live OLE, sweep across tracks without the need for a bottom guide channel and integrate with the BMS for ultimate safety at all times.

Jewers Doors were chosen to provide the train doors solution for the Hitachi train manufacturing plant. The solution needed to be architecturally pleasing and the train doors were required to close around the overhead lines and also smoothly operate over multiple railway tracks. In addition the plant's train doors have top operate in all weather conditions.
